Telesphore and Gertrude married on March 3, 1919 at St.Joseph Church in Orleans, Ontario. The family moved to Eston, Saskatchewan soon after their marriage to start their new life as a farmer.
During their 14 years in the Prairies, they raised their first 7 children: Philip, Gerard, Beatrice, Jeannette, Thelma, Lucienne and Leo. After some very difficult times during the Dust Bowl period, Telesphore moved his family back to Orleans, Ontario where they raised an additional 5 children: Noella, Eugene, Therese, Jacqueline, and Claude. Finally, they moved to Richmond, Ontario where they had 4 more children: Pauline, Francoise, Denise and Ernest Gaston.
As you can imagine, raising a large family like this could not have been easy. There are surely some great stories worth sharing.
From these 16 children came many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Many of these relatives have never met one another.
