It seems that as you get older, times goes by faster. I’ve heard this over and over yet never really gave it another thought. Until recently when it seems that my days are getting shorter or I’m not as fast at doing my work as I once was. It’s true that having 7 grandkids can keep you very busy, plus doing two jobs, travelling and taking care of Bernard so that he stays happy and healthy.
I was very pleased when some cousins from my Aunt Noella came in contact with the Telesphore and Gertrude Vinet Facebook page. That motivated me into update a few pages here on the family tree. What I love most is seeing photos of relatives I’ve never seen or those that I’ve seen in a very long time. Photos tell stories and stories help us to define or understand who we are. Sharing our stories allows us to connect with one another, to appreciate who we are and the journey of our lives.

I invite you to share your stories of your family and of yourself so that we can appreciate and connect with you here and hopefully in the real world.

I know that I’ve mentioned this in the past and in several posts. I would love to create a Vinet Reunion, somewhere in Canada (as it seems most of the family is this there), most probably in Ontario. If you would like to help me brainstorm this, let me know by sending an email to claudette.chenevert@gmail.com with the subject line: Vinet Reunion. Maybe, just maybe, I’ll get to see the 100s of cousins that is part of my family.

Warmly,
Claudette
